Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how LovelyInvited (“LovelyInvited,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our website, digital wedding invitation service, and related features (together, the “Service”).

We built LovelyInvited so couples can share beautiful invitations and manage guest RSVPs in one place. Protecting the personal details you and your guests trust us with is central to that promise.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to two groups of people:

  • Couples / account holders — anyone who creates a LovelyInvited account to build an invitation site.
  • Guests — anyone who opens a couple's invitation link, views the site, or submits an RSVP.

When a couple uses LovelyInvited to collect RSVP information, the couple is the primary owner of their guest list and we act as a service provider on their behalf.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account information — your name, email address, password, and optional profile photo.
  • Wedding details — names of the couple, ceremony and reception dates, venue and address, dress code, schedule, gift or registry links, personal photos, and any other content you add to your invitation.
  • Guest information — any guest names, phone numbers, email addresses, dietary preferences, plus-one details, or other fields you enter or that guests submit through the RSVP form you publish.
  • Payment information — order details and billing information you provide at checkout. Payment card numbers are submitted directly to our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
  • Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support or give feedback.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and log data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, and timestamps of your interactions.
  • Usage data — pages and invitation templates viewed, buttons clicked, how long a session lasts, and basic aggregate statistics about your invitation site (such as RSVP counts).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — small data files used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure performance. See “Cookies” below.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including publishing your invitation site and collecting RSVPs;
  • create and secure your account and authenticate you when you sign in;
  • process purchases, send receipts, and prevent fraudulent transactions;
  • send transactional messages (for example, account confirmations, revision updates, or invoices);
  • respond to support requests and communicate with you about product changes that affect your site;
  • analyze usage to fix bugs, improve performance, and design new features;
  • enforce our Terms of Use and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share guest contact information with third parties for their own marketing.

4. How we share information

We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to host and operate the Service — including cloud hosting, database and storage, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers process data only to help us run the Service and under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • With your guests or couple. Content you add to your invitation is, by design, shown to anyone with your invitation link. RSVP submissions are visible to the couple who owns the invitation.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If LovelyInvited is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will give you notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With your consent. For any other purpose we disclose at the time we ask for your permission.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember essential preferences. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Service is used in aggregate.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent parts of the Service (such as staying signed in) from working.

6. Data retention

We keep account and wedding information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward so you can recover access, download records, or meet legal and tax obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Guest RSVP data is retained as long as the related invitation exists. If a couple deletes their invitation or account, associated guest entries are deleted with it, subject to limited backup retention windows.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your account and associated data;
  • export a copy of your invitation and RSVP data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on consent to process information.

Most of these can be handled from your dashboard. For anything else, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are a guest and want your RSVP or contact details removed from an invitation, please contact the couple who invited you first, since they control that guest list. We will help if they cannot.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and hosted infrastructure from reputable providers — to protect the information you entrust to us. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and contact us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults planning a wedding. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

LovelyInvited is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from another country, you understand that information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from your own.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice (for example, by email or a banner inside the Service) before they take effect.
